Editorial review from Citysearch 2/6/2015

On 11/7/14 Edwin Herrera from LA TV Repair came out to repair our Mitsubishi TV model LT-52249. Edwin said he needed to take it to his shop to take it apart & it would be 1-2 weeks maximum. We have called Edwin weekly but continue to get excuses on why he hasn't fixed the TV. We asked him to just bring our TV back, Edwin said he’s lost too much money on this deal & can’t bring it back. We told Edwin we would call Santa Ana Police if he doesn’t bring it back. Edwin said he’s been through this before it’s a civil issue and the police won’t do anything so go ahead and call them. \r Edwin charged our credit card on 11/9/14 for the parts & labor but we have yet to get the TV back as of 1/12/15.\r This is a pattern with Edwin, I have researched and found that Edwin Herrera has done this in the past and continues to commit fraud taking peoples TV’s and money & not returning either. Not only in California but he owned another company, Telesystems in Seattle, WA where he did the very same thing, using the same excuses, parts on back order & then not returning the TV’s or money to his customers. See http://www.komonews.com/news/consumer/101940873.html\r Please File claims with the following agencies so we can hopefully get his business license taken away (you can pretty much copy & paste your information into each of them).\r The Better Business Bureau at https://www.bbb.org/consumer-complaints/file-a-complaint/get-started\r Consumer Affairs at https://www.dca.ca.gov/webapps/gencomplaint/gconline_riv.php\r State of California Attorney General at: http://oag.ca.gov/contact/consumer-complaint-against-business-or-company\r Orange County District Attorney at http://orangecountyda.org/howdoi/reportfraud.asp\r You can also report fraud to the FBI because it’s considered a white color crime. You will need to call 310-477-6565 & ask to speak to an SAC. Tell the SAC that you are calling to report a fraud crime. You will need to provide them with your name & contact address, details about the fraud crime & the full name, address & phone number for the perpetrator:\r LA TV Repair, Edwin Herrera, 2046 S Woodland Place, Santa Ana, CA 92707 phone# 714-474-1776, 714-716-4148 more
