I had an eye cup cross thread on my 10 x 42 Monarch binoculars. I really don't know how it happened, but probably was dropped. I sent the binoculars in for repair and they were very promptly repaired and returned to me in excellent condition for no charge. This is the second time I've had this outstanding service from Nikon and believe me I let people know when a company handles problems like this so seamlessly. \r
