Slow. Dishonest. Expensive. 12/29/2015

My check engine light in my '05 Town and Country came on. Auto Zone gave me a paper with the codes and told me to take it to a dealer to get it fixed. I chose incorrectly. A1 wanted me to bring it in by 1:30 the next day for diagnostics, but if I could get it in sooner, they might be able to check it out before then. So I dropped it off at 9:00 am, hoping I might get it not only diagnosed, but fixed before 3rd shift work the following day. 36 hours should be enough for that, right? So tomorrow rolls around. I still haven't heard back from them by noon, so I call them instead, thinking maybe they just forgot to call after the diagnosis. NOPE! Haven't even started, but they were just about to and they'd call me as soon as they were done. 4pm rolls around and still nothing. I walk myself there, hoping to have my vehicle so I can go to work later. Once I get there, and sit in the office assuring them I will be leaving with my van, they magically finish the diagnosis 20 minutes later. I don't get a paper. Just a verbal "Your solid state relay is bad." And it costs me $110. What? Regardless, I was told I'd be called when the new relay comes in sometime in the next 24 hours. It has been a week. I've never been this disgusted with a repair shop. I have no idea how they have business at all, let alone 4 stars. more
