I purchased a 2016 Outback Limited from Trung Nguyen over the internet. He was the only salesman in all of Southern California that would offer a reasonable price. I drove up from San Diego County to get the car and Trung took me on a test drive and we confirmed the deal offered online. There were no “extras” added and no attempts to pad the cost. I found that the car was missing a couple of options in a package that I wanted, but had an additional option I didn’t need. Trung apologized profusely and gave me the two options from his parts department at dealer cost. In the end, I got the car for well under invoice price and I’m satisfied with the deal and the dealer.
The finance guy was very friendly and not overly pushy to get me to buy add-ons. However, he knew nothing about the new Starlink Safety Plus and Security Plus plans. He thought that Subaru would send information in the future. That was odd as they are money makers for extensions plans. Trung explained many of the cars features and paired my phone. The whole process took about an hour and an half. Trung followed up with a call a couple of days later. Overall, this was the second best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I’d recommend giving Trung and South Coast Subaru your business.
