Rich, the owner , instilled my trust in him as I don't know a lot about audio equipment. He sold and installed a system in my home that was totally inappropriate for the mere fact that even though my home had speakers on all three floors tied into the old sound system that was there when I purchased the house he sold me a fancy system, an very expensive one that lacked the capacity to plug in all the zones in my home so that when I have a party which usually is on my first floor, you can't listen to the music unless you do a lot exotic things with air play etc. on my I phone. In addition, it is a system that is controlled by a laptop or cell phone, it has gone out constantly, usually I felt it was due to my computer ineptness but found out that the service calls which were handled very promptly and always charged to my credit card were mere band aids on a system that had something wrong in the one component that caused it to go into sleep mode . Over the holidays I once again had no music to listen to. I left an angry message for Rich and in it I told him, ""Why didn't you ask me if I was the kind of guy that wanted everything on a laptop because I am a remote control kind of guy and not real savvy with technology and why didn't you ask me if I wanted music on the first floor where I have parties?"" Of course , these were rhetorical questions left on the answering machine . Another thing to be aware of is that Audio Lab shuts down extensively on holidays. I understand being on vacation, we all need one from time to time but do we shut down a business that deals with the public because the owner has never established enough of a trust relationship with his folks to man the service department while he is gone.\r
I would not buy anything from these people, they will skin you alive. I can understand why they are not registered with the BBB.
