At about 5 PM on 8/7/2014 I noticed that the food in my freezer was getting soft and the ice maker had stopped making ice. The side of the refrigerator was very hot. I thought how am I going to find someone on a Friday evening at 5:30 PM to come even to look at it let alone fix it. I got on Angie's List look for a repair shop. The first one I looked at closed at 5 PM. The second on was Abel Appliance Repair and they were open until 6 PM.
I called the number and Larry answered the call, he was on a service call and said he would get back to me. At around 6:30 Larry call me back and I explained what was going on with the refrigerator and he asked where I live and I told him. He said he would be here in 10 minutes.
He arrived and found that the problem was the motor that runs a fan to keep the parts cool was not working. He changed the motor out and put everything back, cleaned up and was done in about 30 minutes.
I'm thankful that Larry was willing to work late and solve my problem. He has my highest recommendation!!
