A few years ago I had my two sofa cushions reupholstered at Lairds. The owner seemed less than friendly once she had my cushions in hand. Her worker did a decent job, even though I think it was somewhat overpriced. This year, I decided to redo the whole arm area in the same fabric. I called the shop I know, Lairds. Again, even over the phone, she was not all that friendly, or helpful. When I emailed her a photo of the entire sofa, she never responded to give me an estimate as she said she would. I thought it was very strange, but, apparently she must not need business. Good for her! Maybe she overcharged enough people for the time being, so she can relax a bit...lol
