I rented from Shinners & Chasnis for nearly two years. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. I was transferred to the Saginaw region for work and had very little time to find housing. Heidi quickly arranged a showing of an apartment and got everything taken care of for me within about a week.\r

The laundry machines always worked--something that I have never experienced in my 10+ years of renting. There was a covered parking space for every apartment, and only a few extra spaces--something that I appreciated as it kept down on excessive guests.\r

In general the building was quiet. Any problem neighbors were dealt with quickly and appropriately, which I appreciated. It always seemed that the office was responsive to any problems that I was having. I usually drove over to the office on lunch the first day of the month to drop off a check. Heidi, Jacob and Hope were always approachable and asked how everything was at the building. The majority of the building tenants lived there when I moved in and were still there when I left. The only ones that came and went were what I would consider ""problem"" tenants, but those were few and far between.\r

When it came time to move, they got my deposit check back to me in about 30 days, which is pretty consistent with good landlords that I have had. Overall, no complaints.
