I have always struggled with my weight, despite knowing "what the right things to do" are, through my career as a physician. Despite diet and exercise and bariatric surgery with partial regain of the weight lost, I found myself with a large roll of belly fat at the bottom of my abdomen, while my waist remained an OK size. I couldn't wear pants ans even the fat roll was starting to show under my skirts. Getting up in the morning was miserable, because I knew that meant getting dressed.
