This review is strictly regarding the owner of North Florida Tile Setter, Greg Eberhardt. My husband and I hired North Florida Tile Setter to remove and reset some loose tiles we had in our home. Mr. Eberhardt came out and tapped on all our tiles and gave us a proposal to replace 37 tiles. He said normally he charges 25.00 a tile to replace but since we had so many he would charge us 20.00 per tile for a total of 740.00. Once the job was done, we only had 25 tiles that needed to be replaced. Based on this information, I felt like our bill should have been reduced to 20.00 per tile times 25 tiles reducing the total to 500.00. I asked Mr. Eberhardt did that mean we would receive 240.00 discount. He responded via email that now he was going to charge us 25 per tile instead of 20.00 per tile that he originally quoted us. I think this is bad business. If he quoted us a price per tile, we should have paid that same price even though we only had 25 tiles replaced instead of 37. After my discussion with him regarding our bill, he never thanked us for our business or said anything to us upon leaving our home. I will never do business with him again because he changes a customer?s bill to suit him so that he nets what he wants in the end. He is a very greedy person.
