I sponsored our corporate event at their facility in Mar 2014 and have to say that it was a disappointment. We had set up everything well in advance in regards to reserving the track, providing food and drinks, and trophy's for the end of the event. I received a call the day of the event stating that they had run out of trophy's and would have to get more. They did provide some medals in their place but they were not personalized as we had asked. Once we did arrive, we were greeted and taken to our room - as far away as possible from everything. Not a huge issue, just inconvienent. Then we had some food and broke into ""Heats"" for the race. We were asked to follow our guide into the race area and told to grab some helmets. As we did this, one of their employees started barking at us telling us to put the helmets back - we were apparently not doing it fast enough as he then started yelling at us. I pulled our guide aside and let her know that we were not going to be spoken to in this manner and if it happened again that we would leave. She assured me that it would not happen again - which it did not. From that point, things went pretty well. We had a great time racing each other and they let us take breaks as needed (the ventalation is pretty bad) before starting another race. At the end of each race, we received stats on the race (fastest lap, overall winner, etc) and then rotated people on and off the track. Once finished, they had us take pictures and let us know they would send them the next day to us. She also reminded us that we would have the trophy's by the following Friday (one week). We did not receive the pictures until the following Friday and still no trophy's. We did not receive them until I continued to email daily requesting updates. 2 1/2 weeks later, we received the tophies - will the wrong names and spelling issues. We were then told that they would send replacement name plates to us within 3 days. This was over 3 weeks ago and they just now told us they were mailing them to us today - we'll see. \r
The racing was fun but the staff definitely needs to be coached better on customer service as well as how to speak to people. When I followed up with our contact and let her know about the employee ""barking"" she replied that he was a great racer and has one of the fastest times on record - not sure how that plays into customer service but good for him...\r
You will have to weigh your options on choosing this track for an event for yourself. Good Luck!
