Editorial review from Citysearch 4/10/2014

4/10/14. had 2 new tires put on my cbr 1000 today. they test drove it after installing tires, Rod drove my bike over a speed bump in the adjacent parkinglot hard enough to completely crack my front fender in half. there was a small 2 inch area of damage pre-existing at the top of the fender under my air horn I installed last august. It has been there for 4 months without any further damage or issues until it was driven by Cycle station. They broke my fender in half while in their care and will not replace it. I have a picture of the bike taken this morning prior to relinquishing it into their care with NO cracks anywhere on the fender and only minor scratches at the top of the fender. I am extremely dissatisfied that no effort or offer was made to remedy the damage they did to my bike. I would NOT recommend this location. not at all. \r \r Additionally, They over tightened my chain. It was DRUM TIGHT; less than 1/4 play. Took it to Mid continent motorcycle (guys on West street) and the service guy took it around back and loosened it to factory specs. no charge. THEN, found out they (mid continent) does tires for 90 bucks mounted and balanced so I could have saved money going to a better place. what a crap job. more
