Editorial review from Citysearch 3/25/2014

On 3/24/2014 I was driving home from work just coming onto Thompson road from Bayou Liberty in Slidell, LA. Grasshoppers was cutting grass on the side of the road. There was several people working on this specific area but there was one gentleman that was cutting the grass on the side of the road with a weed eating type of tool. As I drove by the weed eater threw a large rock at my windshield and cracked it. I drove to the next street and turned around and went and spoke with the gentleman that was weed eating. I told him that there was a rock that hit my windshield and he started profusely apologizing and said he was going to stop and then he stopped and went up to another guy that was working to talk to them. Since Thompson is a busy road I had to pull into a side street near that house and I got out and talked to the guy. He again was apologizing and saying he was ""so sorry"". I said I understand that happens however I expect the company to pay for my repairs since it clearly was not my fault. He went to the company car and got me a business card and said to call the main office that they deal with all of that. I immediately called and had to leave a message. I finally got a hold of the lady and after several times of being placed on hold for more than 5 minutes each time she stated ""I talked to my crew and they said they did not have weed eaters on that side of the road so there is nothing we can do"". Clearly that was a lie and I was very upset about it. She stated there was nothing she could do because they didn't do anything. Apparently this company has a lot of issues because several people that I know have stated the same thing has happened to them or their neighbors. It is very unfortunate that this company lacks integrity and is refusing to pay for my windshield repair. more
