My 1999 Dodge Durango needed a new computer to resolve transmission problems. My best advise for people with similar problems would be to let the shop deal with the computer manufacturer. After many hours of troubleshooting, the shop determined that it was the replacement computer that was at fault. The computer store required that the shop perform numerous tests before they would refund the shop's money. If I had purchased the replacement computer on my own, I would have been on the hook for it and one that worked. The good news is that I have one of the cleanest transmissions on the road and that all my wiring is good.
