First, I want to say that I was terrified about Dr. Adams' recommendation that I get min-implants because I thought that the material/metal from the implants would affect my health. I was totally wrong about what I thought. The procedure for getting the implants was not bad at all. I think what helped me through it was the care of the team of dental professionals. I sincerely can't complain about anything! The mini-implants secure my bottom denture so well and I can't feel that they are in my mouth. I don't have to worry about my bottom denture coming loose or out because I can eat anything I want and not worry about being embarrassed. It's very important to get regular dental hygiene appointments/cleaning because plaque can build up and needs to be removed. Also, it's good for Dr. Adams to check the mini-implants to make sure everything is OK! I am very, very happy with my mini implants and highly recommend them, especially if your dentist tells you that he/she recommends them for you. I get so many compliments on my "beautiful" smile!
