This place was beyond awful. Got a groupon for iPad screen repair. When we called the girl told us it only takes 45 minutes to an hour. When we dropped it off they told us it would be an hour to an hour and a half. No big deal. We had errands to run anyway. We show up two hours later and they still haven't finished. The girl at the desk proceeded to tell us that the cable to the home button (which was fully functional before this) was somehow broken during the process of them replacing the screen and they also expected us to pay for this. We asked them why we should pay for it when it wasn't broken before this ad the girl got irritated with us. Instead of walking to the back room to get her manager she started screaming for him from the front counter as loud as she could. That was the moment i realized how unprofessional this place really was. This girl claimed she called us to let us know about the part but we never got a call (we had full service the entire time) and she never even left a message. They decided on their own to replace this part without our approval. We talked to the manager who was more professional but still not willing to hear our side of it. They offered a refund of the groupon in order for us to pay only $10 more for this part (which we shouldn't have to pay for in the first place). When I asked why we couldn't just pay the extra $10 on top of the groupon they said it was because they already don't get all the money from the voucher that we paid for. This was when I realize they couldn't care less about their customers and instead only want your money. I couldn't have the group on refunded as it was paid for with an old card. The only option they gave us was to pay an extra $65. We were extremely frustrated at this point and one guy actually got into a screaming match with my boyfriend cussing at him and calling him ignorant. At this point I noticed the manager locked us in the store and the only way we could get out was if we paid the $65. I decided to pay it just to get out of there.We called groupon and they happily refunded our money stating that there were multiple complaints about these people. Worst service I've ever seen. Regardless of the situation an employee at a business should NEVER cuss at a customer and call them names and what makes it worse was that the manager was laughing the entire time this was going on. They have an F rating on the BBB because they refuse to respond to customer complaints. They are running a scam saying a shard of glass was stuck under the home button and it sliced a wire. Do your research and realize they are the ones posting rave reviews about themselves. Yelp reviews will prove their scam. Stay away from them. more
