. On Friday 2/7/14, I talked to Service Director, Jay Lucernoni and made an appointment at Towne Ford in Orchard Park, NY for Monday 2/10/14. I drove the Escape there at 7:30 am and sat down with Brian Angevine (BlueTeam Service Manger). I told him about the knock in the engine. He said that he will be in touch and at 9:00am he called to tell me that they were going to start tearing down the engine. At noon, I called them to see if I could get a car to drive if the car was not finished. He said no problem. When I went there at 2 pm to pick up the loner car, he told me the vehicle had a cracked block between the 2nd and 3rd cylinder. We then talked about the time frame for getting it done. I told him I did not care how long it took, just get it done right. I got the vehicle back on Tuesday 2/18, which I thought was excellent. I cannot say enough good things about these two gentlemen and the service they provided.
