Made the mistake of buying a cheap awning from another company. My 1st awning from the other company motor went bad and it took 6 phone calls for them to come out and they charged me 185 in advance, even though the awning was under warranty. In the end they charged a total of 475 to replace their motor under the pro-rated ""warranty"". 2 years later the same motor went bad again. I called them again and got a fast busy. Searched the web and found out they're out if business. Deserves them right. Accent came out replaced the motor for only $50 more than what the other company charged under their supposed ""warranty"". Total rip off. Turns out the motor that came out of my awning was Chinese made, not European. I also had Accent replace the 4 1/2 year old fabric which was fading badly under the warranty period. Accent was quick, professional and supplied a written warranty which was important to me after the last disaster I went through. Wish I had bought from them in the 1st place.
