They ""require"" you to have an appointment, but apparently if they find out you're not spending enough, they'll double book you and take in a ""walk-in"" to consult right along side you. My ""advisor"" Emma paid no attention to me and my fiancé once another Spanish speaking lady walked in with a higher price point and made no secret that she was helping her as we sat waiting for word on dress styles I had selected via Internet. We sat there for over 10 minutes to hear if they had a size, but rather than checking on an answer, she was assisting the other lady. Sad part was, we may have said we were going to spend $300, but we wound up buying a $1200 dress at a competitors after we left only having tried on 3 dresses in less than 45 minutes. She never even came to see us out, just yelled from across the floor ""sorry we didn't find anything"".
