I was diagnosed with scoliosis at 13 and the medical doctors only suggestion for me when asked on what I can do to prevent it from getting worse was, ""Nothing. We just have to put rods on your back."" ""What about my future?"" I know I was only 13 but every girls dream was to get married and raise a family someday. They said that when it comes to time that it may be difficult for me to carry a baby because of my ""condition"". My jaw dropped and I remember coming home and crying as my heart was broken. I tried everything I can. I did some research on what I can do on my part to stay healthy and prevent my scoliosis from getting worse. I lost weight, exercised but the doubt and fear that was placed in my heart by those medical doctors never left me. I was still not certain of what my future holds. Until I met Dr. Thomas in 2010. He gave me hope. Hope that the medical doctors took away from me. Hope that I won't have to have rods put in my back ""when my scoliosis"" gets worse. Hope that I can live a happy life if as long as I choose to continue to correct my spine. All my doubts and fears were gone. Now, I'm married with two healthy kids and I bring my husband and two kids in to get checked at least once a month. Dr. Thomas is the best chiropractor I know. He is very knowledgeable and honest. I will recommend him to all my friends.
