It was 6:00 AM on Super Bowl Sunday, and I was about to make coffee when I discovered that the water in the kitchen sink had completely stopped. First, no coffee---argh! Second, I had a big group of friends coming over for the game later in the day, and I had a lot of cooking to do. I needed my kitchen sink!! So, I called Roto-Rooter. To my amazement, someone picked up the phone at 6:20AM. This alone was a welcome relief. Thankfully, a plumber was at my house before 10:00AM (shortly before the commitment time), and the problem was completely resolved about an hour and a half later. A flex-line on a recirculating pump over the water heater was disintegrating and clogging up the faucets. He drained the water heater, put in a proper copper line, and cleared all the faucets everywhere in the house. It is nice to know Roto-Rooter doesn't jack up the price just because it is the weekend; this cost me about $350 which didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. The good thing is I was
