Of course it is your choice but you are taking a HUGE risk with this dentist office. \r I initially went for the special $59.00 which included a cleaning of my teeth and 18 X-rays only to be told that I had 2 cavities. Because this is a dentist office I trusted what was said. So I scheduled to have the cavities filled.. Minor stuff right! I have done this before NO BIG THING. \r \r On Oct 31st 2014 I went for my appointment only to be told after I was numbed that I needed something else done with filling of the cavities and while under medication of the numbing medicine I had to sign for authorization of the extra to be done and pay more money. Oh did I say I have NO INSURANCE I paid out of my pocket. $$$$$$.... \r \r Once finish and after WHOLE LOT of drilling which concerned me I paid and left the office only to now have constant pain in one of my tooth filled and I was biting into the another tooth because the filling was too high so I called and went back the following week for a bit adjustment. By this time my tooth is extremely sore yet the dentist drilled some more to adjust the filling. A couple of days past and I am still having pain and still biting into the bottom tooth but now it is very sore and very sensitive to hot, cold, room temperature, cake, gum just about anything that touches the tooth. \r \r I call the office and they schedule me to come in the following week for another bit adjustment. Only this time the doctor numbed me again to drill some more. After this my tooth just does not feel like it did before but what was done is done as long as there is no more pain. Well from 10/31/14 to present I am still in been in pain with this very tooth only to have gone to another dentist and now I have been told that the filling is a little deep and that the nerve in my tooth is crumpt (meaning damaged nerve - no repairing). Result a Root Canal cost $2,000. Did I say I don't have Insurance and a single mom so that is out of my pocket... \r \r I then contacted FEATHERTOUCH DENTAL to be surprisingly advise them that my paperwork stated that I may need a root canal. However, the dentist never discussed or even mentioned this to me but somehow it is now in my paperwork that I was refused a copy of when I asked for it. Frankly if he had mentioned this to me then why go thru the procedure of the filling I asked and the response I got back was ""the dentist did not know"" Huh! Really! Now I am convinced that don't know what they are doing at this office frankly the response made NO Sense. Really why waste the money for the filling if I needed a root canal when I arrived at your office with NO ISSUES ~ Really makes no sense. \r \r So I lost $260.00 for service not needed only to pick up a bill for $2,000 for a service I now need that was caused by the Dentist but they refuse to take ownership of the negligence at FEATHER TOUCH dental. \r \r OVERVIEW... Feather Touch does not care about the health, procedures or what is right. They only care about the money. They don't want to deal with what they have done wrong, or damages that the patient has incurred because THE DENTIST MESSED UP! and even denied me a copy of my medical records.\r \r CONSUMER BEWARE NOTICE. more
