Counters came out fine, however installers scratched up brand new hardwoo. OWNER REFUSES TO DO THE RIGHT thing and oen up to his company's mistake. Have to go to small claims court just to get the floors looking like they did before stone city arrived. Not worth the risk and based on other reviews sounds as if they wont honnor their waranty either. The owner "babu" is NOT an HONEST MAN!!!! RESPONSE FROM STONE CITY LLC: Mr Cobb, We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the service you received. However you clearly mentioned that the countertops came in fine. Based on your call the owner of the company came in person to your house to discuss with you about the issues that have been raised. When he came you were not even at the house. He even waited outside your house to meet you to go over the concerns you have. Your floors were covered with sheet rock dust when our installers have arrived at your home and were in complete mess as a lot of remodeling work was going on and you clearly mentioned that was true. Our team takes good care of the surroundings and the floors before they start doing the job. In the discussion with the owner you were just blaming us for the floor damage when it was clear that they were existing damages and you yourself mentioned that you did the drywall cuts etc. It is not appropriate to blame us when we did not do the damages. But when the owner mentioned that to you, you got upset and started bad mouthing our company and started threatening that you will write bad reviews for us. Our owner is well known in the industry for honesty, integrity and taking care of the customers to the maximum possible extent. We have done more than 6000 jobs in the 12+ years of our business and us being still in business itself shows how well we take care of our customers. A lot of our business is based on customer referral and word of mouth. At your request when the backsplashes could not be installed on the same day, we even had our installers come in on Saturday (a day when they do not work) and take care of it for you as that was the only day that worked for you.. That is the extent and beyond to which we go and take care of our customers. We value feedback from all of our customers and are continually working to improve the experience at our place and with our service for everyone. Please contact us directly with any other concerns you may have regarding the countertops and we would be happy to address them with in the warranty period of one year from the date of install and beyond if required. more
