I contacted Trim electric to troubleshoot a GFCI outlet that continues to trip and won't reset. The electrician arrived and replaced the GFCI, re spliced the wires and added clear silicone to the outdoor outlets that could get wet due to rain This seemed to fix the problem for a couple of days, but the GFCI started tripping again. The electrician returned and swapped the GFCI outlet again and advised that I plug the garage refrigerator into another GFCI outlet to determine whether the the refrigerator is causing the problem. The GFCI has been causing problems for a long time with multiple appliances and still continues to trip sporadically. Ultimately, I would like a more thorough diagnosis.
