R&D installed an entire Lennox system (heat pump and furnace/humidifier) Dec 2007. Dec 2013, the aux heat kept coming on and they said it needed a new filter. Bought filter online (was not cheap) and the same problem kept happening (aux heat came on even when 50 degrees outside). Electric bill was over $500. They came out again in Jan and installed a new thermostat for $195 (no charge for service call - one point for R&D). After that, still same problem. They came out again and found out it was a problem with the circuit board in the heat pump. The technicians are friendly and professional, however, Ann (the GM) is rude and misdiagnoses the problem causing the technicians to look in the wrong place. I was told that Lennox systems are not good. Now we are stuck with an (expensive) system that don't work right and electric bills that are astronomical! And...I was told I was going to get a refund on the first service call only to be told it will be put towards the installation of the circuit board. I was also promised a refund on the thermostat (the tech reinstalled the old one) and no check after a week and it should only take a day to mail. Moral of the story: don't buy Lennox equipment and don't let Ann diagnose your problem over the phone. She is not a technician.
