Had been curious about this place for a while, Seafood & Steak are favorites of the wife & I. We went there for our Anniversary January 17th.\r First and foremost, The Hostess and waitress were very polite.\r Made an 8:30PM Reservation, Arrived at 8:26PM, We were seated at 9:15PM. While we stood there for 50 minutes waiting for a table we were shocked to see hurried waitstaff briskly maneuvering uncovered meals through the crowded front entry way. (during peak flu-season)\r We were finally seated in the area directly under the glass dome. This is a very nice Restaurant to look at. The Dome, The panoramic view overlooking 47th and Pennsylvania, the stained glass wall separating the bar from the dining area featuring a depiction of ""The Mighty Mo"" at the top. It is all very nice and had it not been for the obnoxious club music and the dull roar of everyone talking over the obnoxious music the atmosphere here may have won me over. \r Waitress was nice but new. I had to ask her to bring out bread, she then brought out bread for us and three other tables. Every time she left our sight, she seemed to disappear for 10 minutes or more. This got old, especially as the night drug on and we just wanted to pay our bill and go home. \r Starters: ""Lump Crab Cake"" $14.99. Billed as ""perfect for sharing"" though there is barely enough for one. Flavor was good but it arrived cold.\r Meals: I opted for the Restaurant week 3 course meal ""Spinach Salad"", ""Cajun Seared Snapper"",""Chocolate Molten Cake"". $33.00\r The Wife ordered the 6oz filet mignon. $29.99\r The Spinach salad was, as expected ""forgettable"", just a pile of spinach with some sliced carrots, craisins w/house vinaigrette, topped off with sliced almonds. \r The Cajun Seared Snapper was very good. I would have rated this dish excellent had it not been for a couple of Shrimp tales left in the mix. The creole risotto flavor was very good but it seemed to overpower the flavor of the fish almost completely.\r Dessert was a disappointment. I was looking forward to ""the Chocolate Molten Cake"" but they had sold out. I had to substitute the German Chocolate Cake. It tasted old and the texture was a bit dry. would have been good with a glass of Milk to wash it down. \r The 6oz Filet was very good though $29.99 does not get you much. You get a tiny steak and two over-steamed pieces of soggy broccoli. Best order a side with this one!\r Wife's dessert: Bananas Foster... Where's the Bananas? There was a single slice of banana among three scoops of Ice Cream floating in a caramel sauce. I think they must have run out of Bananas but rather than have to sub two desserts to one couple, they just made do.\r Grade: I start with a 5 and add or subtract as needed.\r We had an 8:30 reservation and it took nearly an hour to be seated -1\r Appetizer arrived cold -1\r Atmosphere could have been great if not for obnoxious music 0\r Main Courses were both very good, due to shrimp tails in mine and the fact my very thin wife was still hungry after a $30 meal, I call this a wash... 0.\r Dessert was a disappointment, No Molten Cake, Sub-Par substitute, Bananas foster with no bananas. -1\r Waitress was very kind but... Forgotten bread and frequent disappearances. It took 20 minutes to pay the bill. -1 (still tipped 20% because she was nice) \r Grand total of 1 out of 5. I would discourage anyone from wasting their time and money here. more
