I recently had an accident with my 2011 Equus. Subsequent to the repair, I had something go wrong with the lift system (rear shocks locked at extreme high point). Since the accident was a front end collision, I assumed this was a warranty repair item. Of course, I was wrong. The Service Department claimed the problem was caused by the tow after the accident. Never mind that the car ran fine for over a week before this shock lock occurred... This has me wondering if every future warranty repair will be denied as an undiscovered consequence of the accident.
I'm having the car inspected by Gregory today and told them to look for anything that the repair shop might have missed. Fingers crossed, today's $300 repair will be the last case where the accident will be blamed and warranty repair denied.
Up until today I have been extremely happy with my experience with Gregory Hyundai.
