When I made the appointment, I specifically told them that I had a GE water softener that required service. They set up the appointment, but when the technician arrived, he said they "wouldn't touch a GE". He was willing to change out our whole system for over $3000, but wouldn't fix the leaking gasket. Ultimately, because we were without water service, we had to pay him to install a bypass. All they needed to do was tell me they wouldn't work on a GE, when I set up the appointment. Be sure you know they will actually work on your equipment before you allow them to come out.
