If you are driving across western New Mexico on I-10 and need a nice, comfortable place to spend the night, the Comfort Inn located in Lordsburg (about 25 miles from the Arizona border) is an excellent choice. The hotel is very clean and new looking, has an indoor pool, workout room, and comfortable bedding (though I did not like the small pillows, they were comfortable). What else could you want? Try an excellent breakfast with waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and biscuits. Top that off with friendly staff and you have a receipt for a repeat visit. \r

A traveler can have a bad stay at any hotel, but this one has worked well for me.
