Stopped in to Otani today with a co-worker for lunch. We sprinted out of a divey Chinese carry-out joint down the strip because we thought it was rather dumpy. So feasting our eyes on the well-appointed Otani, we were pleased.\r

We were promptly greeted and seated and our orders were taken. On our way to our seats, I noticed the sushi bar where two traditional-clad sushi chefs were making fresh sushi. The sushi lunch was $8.45 and it included two rolls, but most of the other lunch specials were under six bucks and appeared to include more. \r

I ordered Shrimp Tempura, which was served over fried rice and included some fried vegetables. Miso soup was also included and it was tasty.\r

I do not remember the name of my co-workers dish, but he said it was very good too.\r

We were pleased with our service, the food, and the atmosphere so we will return. With tip, lunch was around $26 for two meals.
