These people from Collection bureau of America are very very rude. They said they were calling my husband (of 40 years) on behalf of time warner and that I owed over 200.00. I found it funny becuase for the past 10 plus years I have auto pay by time warner. I told the guy that there were 7 people with the same first and last name in my town and he said ""not with your phone number"". I tried again to tell him it wasn't me and He then told me to call me back when I got it all figured out. I immediately called time warner who went back to 2001 and said nothing was ever past due nor were there any notes (as they always do) saying that it had been sent to CBA. I told Time warner I was going to tell him where to put his paper........ We laughed. I then called back CBA and after a little arguing and insinuations that maybe I don't know my husband. he asked if we ever stayed at a certain address. I said no and then came the magic words ""We must have the wrong person which was what I had said at the beginning way before I was furious. Sounds like stupidity and laziness rather than a scam. Michael sound like a plant from the company to me.
