I worked with Kevco over my senior year at Colorado State University, and it was a very unpleasant experience to say the least. Moving in was a huge hassle, as they did not give me the correct keys at move it (seriously?) and it took them a week and half to get the key box off of our front door. The lawn was almost completely dead at move it, and the place was no where near clean. When we had routine maintenance done, they charged us. Mind you, this was not something that was our fault, just normal wear and tear on an old, dilapidated house. In addition, my roommate continually got upper respiratory tract infections because the house we were in had black mold growing in every corner. The house itself should be torn down and rebuilt, as it is in shambles and breaks several building codes (I know this because my father is a construction manager). In addition to all this, when we moved out there were a great many charges to our account that were simply fictionalized to reduce the amount of our deposit that would be returned to us. We only received 45% of our initial deposit after spending four days cleaning the house. This company preys on college students and over charges for crap houses. I highly suggest against using this company for any and all of your renting needs.
