Best moving company in Nashville period. When I learned that I had to move I think I lost about 10 years off of my life. I have a massive collection of valuable electronics, computers, and very old stuff from my grandparents (a lot of which has been passed down). I take great pride in my collection of video games and other electronics, I have things that are really rare and some are just one of a kind. Most of this stuff is small, delicate and has taken me a lifetime to obtain. The thought of some of this stuff being damaged let alone lost makes me want to cry. Most of my most prized possessions can not even be found on eBay, it's that rare. I've spent my life collecting this stuff with a passion and being the curator of my own little museum and now I have to move it?! FML! I also have many priceless family heirlooms that may not be of high monetary value but, the sentimental value makes them irreplaceable. So I googled and read reviews of all the "big name" movers around the area. The horror stories I heard were just depressing. I came across Family Moving and Delivery and noticed that they had high reviews, so I gave them a call. To my surprise the owner actually answered (how often does that happen?) and I probably talked to him for 2 hours, I told him about my collection and he explained in great detail how things work in the moving industry, I kept on asking questions and he explained everything. So I decide that I'll let him pack everything for me since he explained the different type of packing materials and how it would keep everything safe. The day of moving begins. His crew comes out to my house and I'm still nervous, so I just sit there and watch them waiting for them to screw up lol. What I saw amazed me as each one of his guys grabbed piece by piece of my belongings like archaeologists who just discovered the holy grail! As you can imagine the rest of the move went off without a hitch. After the move I went through my belongings like the mental patient I am (don't judge me) and there was not one thing damaged or lost, in fact I found a few new things that I thought were long gone! After reading the horror stories of moving, I am so lucky to have found Family Moving and Delivery. My move was completely effortless (besides me stressing out) and I feel like I freaked out over nothing. Do your research before you move and give these guys your business if they can satisfy my neurotic needs they can move you just as easily. I've already posted this review on a few other sites but, after the excellent service I received, I'm putting it on a few others so people know how important choosing a moving company can be.
