This is a GREAT zoo, and it has gotten even better and cleaner over the years!! It's big enough that you can spend the whole day there with the family. There are many water fountains available on the walk as well as restrooms (note - water fountains are not refrigerated cold water, but they're good enough on a hot day and better than nothing!). It isn't a bad idea to rent a cart-bike there to make the long walk easier if you are unable to walk the full distance or have an injury. There are gazebos throughout the walk that are designated smoking areas. These gazebos (and the restroom buildings) come in handy if there is a rain downpour. Theres also a small ""water park"" like area where the kids can run through to cool off. There are a bunch of different animals to see, and you're able to hand feed the giraffes for a small fee (so awesome). Theres also venders throughout the zoo selling food, drinks, and ice cream, as well as cash vending machines. Great place to take children.
