I noticed that my oil level was 1/2 quart low after the past two oil changes. When I brought it to SCAS attention, they indicated that this was just standard procedure. Per them, if the oild level is anywhere in the crosshatched area on the dipstick, that was fine. I disagreed and requested that they fill mine to the top and no more. They accommodated my request, but now I have to check the level each time to ascertain that it is in fact full. Not a good practice!
