Bottom Line Up Front: The price I paid for the mistake of going through Belliston Jewelry: $823 + a chipped diamond + a lot of heartache. Belliston Jewelry was unconcerned about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction.\r \r The rationale: In 2009 we took our engagement & wedding rings to Belliston Jewelry in Ogden (he came highly referred by word of mouth) to get a basic ring sizing, and then solder the two together. About one year later the two rings broke apart on their own (note: my wife does NOT wear the rings improperly). We noticed that the shanks on both rings were thinned out excessively. The wedding ring was literally razor thin and not wearable. I took just the wedding band to show Dean Belliston (owner of Belliston Jewelry) how unacceptably thin the shank was and that the rings actually broke apart. Much to my surprise, he was actually argumentative about both issues, but eventually broke down and replaced the shank on the wedding band. I did not want him to re-sol more
