Went to this restaurant for an anniversary dinner. A man playing piano was straight out of a Saturday Night Live sketch. Onto dinner, our waiter; Ben was very cordial. He knew his job well. He suggested the steak for two which we went with. First came the breadsticks which were right out of the Wonder bread bag it seemed. Next, a salad of back yard greens. When there are so many fresh vegetables available-tomatoes cukes, peppers etc.. not a one in the salad. The candied walnuts were the best part. The steak was dry. The baked potato is topped with your choice of butter, sour cream, chives-all by a waiter carrying a caddy. My potato was dry as the desert halfway through. I had to ask for steak sauce to be able to swallow. We were so disappointed with our experience. We love steak. This was most definitely not the best steak. Drinks-rum and coke come in at $9 each. Beer at $6. a bottle. Two words: Longhorn steakhouse. Loved every bite at this place. Save your money. This restaurant has lived too long on it's reputation. It also needed a real cleaning. It is all glass and mirrors and the smudges and smears were impossible to notice everywhere. This was a Friday nite and I would have thought it would have been cleaned for the weekend crowds. More $$$ does not equal better food.
