Our rooms were on first floor and had a sliding glass door open right to our car so it's very convenient for loading/unloading. It's about half an hour driving to Bar Harbor and Acadia and considering the hotel price it's absolutely worth it. They also provide free breakfast and while it's simple it saved us lots of time. And the free WiFi is very convenient and we were able to connect our two iPads and two iPhones simultaneously, unlike in some resort one device a time. The large and clean pool and the powerful whirlpool are definitely a plus, except that the hours is a little strange, 9am to 9pm. We were able to return to the hotel early enough only once to use the pool.
