My 9 yr old daughter just finished up with her first time at Rocking J Ranch's week long summer horse camp. At first she was extremely nervous about going and not knowing anybody, to the point of almost wanting to forget even going. By the time camp was just a couple days in, she couldn't stop talking about all the fun she was having, using all the horse lingo, and about all her friends she made. She was especially fond of Suzy, the owner of Rocking J and asked if she could do the residential program next year where she gets to stay the night on the ranch for the week. I feel very lucky as a parent to have found a program that teaches more responsibilities, gives my daughter self esteem, exercise, and a look at a different lifestyle than I could ever have imagined.
