Pros: Med Village does have beautiful apartments and grounds. I pay my rent on time every month and only had a $25/yr increase and I have lived there for 3.5 years as of this posting. I love my apartment itself even though I moved in prior to the complex being updated that is why it is getting 3 stars.\r \r Cons: The management watches you like they are your friend, lover or they pay your rent. How would you feel when you are a private person and the management tells you that they noticed that you are walking, we don't talk so why are watching me. They use to come into the apartment without notice which is illegal and I lost it and said I don't know if they put cameras in my apartment. The management said I told them that I had cameras and they said then let them see it. So they will turn it around and lie. I had cancer at the time and had to tell them why you would go into my apartment when I am home 99% of the time and the 1% of the time you suddenly had to go into my apartment. That day that they went into my apartment I had not left my apartment in at least 2 week. I wear a wig and the manager says oh nice hair and told others in the complex that I had cancer. That is privacy issues that happen here. Even the doctors cannot discuss your medical history but they find it funny here. I do not need to tell you or whoever they told that I had cancer that I am wearing a wig because they thought, I guess, I was lying not being bald for them to see and probably laugh at. They had one maintenance guy ago, a George Zimmerman wannabe who would yell in the pool with his kid and then when I turned up my TV because I don't want to hear it he said ""I am getting that ni99er kicked out."" I was waiting for someone to say something. He is no longer there. A guy knocked on my door after 10pm now you know no man goes to a woman's apartment that late that they don't know unless they are going to rape or they think she is a whore. I speak to NO ONE in this complex so why are you bothering me. If you are watching me, which it seems like more than a one is, then you know I have someone. I just want my apartment; everyone else in the world can live somewhere and never speak to anyone and without people bothering them. What is the problem here? I do not have a friend here NOR DO I WANT ONE. I had a A/C problem they fixed it fast and there were other issues that I have no complaint about but when you go into my bedroom and close the door because I am in my own apartment (of which I pay rent on time every month); what are you looking for because you are in my bedroom for 2-3 minutes. All you needed to do is flip a switch on the breaker which is behind the door. I am so nervous about someone coming into my apartment that when I needed maintenance for the first time when I was not here, I wrote I CANNOT WALK THROUGH YOUR APARTMENT PLEASE DO NOT SEARCH MINE. When I was younger, someone in an apartment complex that was moving out stole for me so I NEVER want to know anyone I live around. I have lived in houses or condos for over 15 years before I moved into an apartment. THE LAW DOES NOT SAY I HAVE TO BE FRIENDS TO MOVE IN. I pay my rent the day before the first of every month without EVER being late. \r \r I like my apartment and won’t move for at least another year and a half but the OWNERS needs to know how they manage. If I hear another person in that pool say f*ck that b*tch or ni99er or she should move, we will have a problem. Intimidation only works if you let it.\r more
