my wife has a 2012 escape that's been in shop 3 times for the same problem and they can't fix it.the service manager took and rode with her and said he heard the noise but can't find the problem when i asked him about the noise he told me he never told my wife he heard it calling my wife more or less a liar. but let the warranty go out and they'll find it then I'm going to take it to some other dealer it's like if the part don't fall off in there hand they can't fix it. opening a case on them though ford customer service department I would advise you not to take your vehicle to interstate ford for any service
