I purchased a transmission on-line from this company which pocketed my $500 core charge even though they received the core back. After weeks a being given the run around, I was told the core was damaged. The mechanic who replaced the transmission spoke with Imperial directly about the good condition (no crack in housing) of the core when it left his shop. If the core was damaged, it had to have been damaged during shipment which Imperial had arranged and paid for. I'm sure it was much easier for them to keep my $500 then file a claim with the shipping company. After speaking to my mechanic, Imperial actually screened my calls and would not answer the phone. Several message requests were made for them to return my call. Never received a call back.
