Smelly bed, broken elevator, inadequate air conditioning, followed by broken promises. \r
After 40 years of traveling Pelican’s Landing was by far the worse overall experience. We stayed in the Penthouse with an elderly couple who were severely limited in climbing the steps when the elevator broke on the 2nd day and remained broken for the next 6 days. The last inspection and maintenance to the elevator was over 6 months past the annual checkup. The management company showed little concern and even kicked them out of the room on the final check out day instead of letting them stay for 2 extra hours before the flight even though the room was not rented the next day. After getting past the on-site manager, to the building manager, to the owners I was told we would receive a drastically reduced cost on a future visit. Now the owners email box is full, the phone goes straight to voicemail and the secretary is “passing along the message”. We were looking at buying one of the condos due to the location in Garrison Bight Marina, but are seriously glad we rented first to see first-hand the poorly managed property. On the first day the neighboring properties said Pelican’s Landing was difficult, but I originally thought it could not be that bad. It is far worse. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.\r
