if you want a true keys atmosphere in a beautiful tropical location with clean rooms and a great staff, then this is it. We rented a pet friendly efficiency for two nights. The room was a little outdated but well kept and clean. I think the regular rooms are more up to date. It had a nice screened in porch too. The kids loved using the kayaks and pedal boats in the ocean and snorkeling right off the beach. The beach is not a sandy beach, but there aren't Real sandy beaches in the keys. The lagoon is usually filled with tropical sea life. We saw parrot fish and lobsters. The hammocks around the property are fantastic for relaxing.
