I first went to Shoe Market in search for bedroom shoes for my wife who has Neuropathy. The manager helped me. I had many questions about how she had tried a pair like the one's he had and had problems with them. He assured that he would take care of any problems if any occurred. No mention of reimbursement was mentioned but I assumed that was part of the conversation. I returned late and purchased a pair. My wife decided against them. So I ordered another kind on the Internet. I brought them back and was hit with, ""I'm sorry, we don't accept returns."" Although a sign was posted, below eye level at the counter, I wasn't aware this was their policy. i feel if someone has this policy, It's should be their responsibility to make sure the customer is aware of it before the purchase. It was an expensive lesson for me not to shop at The Shoe Market again. I am an avid customer of REI in Greensboro at Friendly Center. They have a fantastic policy where you can return shoes no matter how long you wear them !!
