They killed my cat. My cat initially went in for just a medical shave. The vet called me that day and stated my cat needed all this blood work, (she also did a urinalysis, and a parasite check that she did not mention and I did not tell her to do) and a dental cleaning. She suggested the wellness plan and that would cover the dental cleaning and blood and visit. I thought she knew best. She didn't. She estimated a bill of $250.00. The bill came to $503.00. A medical shave is $105.00. I didn't realize until after they charged me that I could not do the wellness plan using care credit, that is why they charged me full price and they didn't call to tell me . The vet did way too many things to my cat that day that it traumitized her. She was 17 years old! I had to spend an additional 660.00 at Angell Memorial Hospital just to end up losing her. Angell Memorial stated that the vet at Banfield traumitized her so bad that it killed her. Banfield took my pet from me, broke my heart and my wallet. I will never go back there again and will never recommend them to anyone else. Four of my friends have already pulled their pets because of what happened to my pet and I. They now go to VCA. \r
