Had them come out and examine our AC which had stopped working. They had been up front that it would be $85 for tech to visit. He showed up examined condensing unit and then looked at furnace/blower. Quickly stated that the board was no good and would need a new board that would be in the $900 range and suggested we simply get a totally new AC system. Had another company sales guy come quote that sales guy asked what was wrong with unit. I explained that fan had come on and was running no matter where thermostat was, he said that sounds like a ""roll out switch"" Goes into attic resets switch and everything is working. Don't know if their techs aren't trained well or if they are in the business of selling new units but certainly felt violated enough to write this!
