A great experience that turned sour. I started with The Dance Company before it was The Dance Company Arts Conservatory in mid 2011. It was advertised as a family friendly studio. The studio was run by Dana Meeks who was rarely seen. I really adored the atmosphere for the most part and loved how the teachers interacted with the kids. Because my daughter was four I was understanding of the lack of emphasis placed on skill progression. Fast forward to a year and a half later, my daughter decides to join the competition team. We are required to take 2 hours a week but decide to take three. Her teacher, Lindsey, has a full time job and all of the parents on our team are quite disappointed with the fact that our girls are quickly becoming bored with the fact that they are running the same two dances 2 hours a week and not getting the 'technique' class that we are paying $60 for.
