I recently ordered a fuel pump from Discount Inboard Marine. I did not look at the description of the part carefully enough prior to placing my order. I received a telephone call from Karen in customer service the next morning to inquire about my order. She said that the part did not appear to be consistent with the type of engine that I have in my boat and asked me to do some further checking of the part. She even suggested an alternate part number which actually was the fuel pump that I needed. The staff at Discount Inboard Marine saved me the inconvenience of receiving an incorrect part and returning it to the company. Karen was extremely knowledgeable and personable. I work in the customer service area and truly appreciate excellent service when I receive it. There is no substitute for the experience and top quality customer service that I received from Discount Inboard Marine.
