This is my 15th move and by far the best. It was the FIRST time movers showed up when they said they would. They parked the truck, opened the doors, and did not stop moving until my apartment was empty and the truck loaded. They move quickly, but carefully, wrapped all our wooden furniture, put blankets down on the floor, and asked when there was a question about an item. On the other end, they were just as efficient and careful with our items. JR was the third company I called. The first two were highly rated on Yelp, but seemed like hacks when I spoke with them. One guy wanted to shove my boxes through an upper floor window, told us that anything that didn't fit on the truck we'd have to move ourselves, and gave us an estimate $300 higher (I'm not kidding). When I called JR, the front office staff was professional and courteous, they emailed me an estimate with all the details we discussed, gave us a choice in moving dates, and called the day before to confirm. I liked that Jordan River had a set amount for travel time, they sent three guys (when other companies were only going to send two), and bill in 15 minute increments rather than 1/2 hour.
